Benefits

  • Real Dev Environment
In comparison to existing online courses we would like to provide listeners with access to real computational cluster to expand their skills and knowledge.
  • All-Round Team
Big data evolves so fast, that nobody can move with the same speed. Nobody can know everything about Big Data. For this reason we put together our big and all-round team. All together we can explain everything.
  • All-in-browser Sandbox
All-in-browser sandbox configuration for the best Big Data learning experience. You could study Big Data from any device with an Internet connection. Be it Windows, Linux, Mac OS, mobile or tablet device.

Our students' reviews
Rajish Shakya
Sr. Software Developer at UnitedHealth Group, University of Minnesota-Twin Cities
I did 1 year of big data in my old company but I didn't get chance to deep dive into it. Since then I have been trying to do more big data and trying to get into big data career. But because I don't have much experience I haven't got chance to get into it. I think this course is perfect. This course will give me overview of things that I couldn't get into before. It will also prove my future employer that I am passionate about big data and give me a chance. :)
Rodrigo Santos
Backend Engineer at Novabase
I had no prior experience in Data Engineering, but I found the field really amusing and challenging for me. This specialization seemed to be the most appealing among the ones I searched, so I decided to attend it.

There are so many Big Data technologies and concepts that I believe that exploring them by myself would be really hard and probably way more time consuming. In this specialization I learned the basics, the internals and optimization of Big Data technologies. I do believe that having this deeper understanding is key to excel in this field. Besides the theoretical concepts, there are really interesting practical exercises evaluated in a real cluster. The specialization has entire weeks dedicated for practical exercises. Some of them could solve real world problems, so encourage you to solve them all.

Given my enthusiasm and helpfulness with others doubts, I had the pleasure of being part of a great mentors team. The staff is really helpful with us and they care about our feedback.

I am working as a Backend Engineer, but I'm soon entering a company as a Data Engineer. I do feel that I could not enter to a role in the field on this time span without this specialization.

I do not want to say that this is the right path, but I'd definitely take it again.
